The storm in my life

Chapter 5

Katherine’s POV

I was so scared and nervous; I wasn’t ready to do this.

God please work a way out for me, what if this man request for sex? I don’t want to lose my virginity this way.

As I was pacing back and forth in my room, my phone went off and I quickly took it, looking at the caller I.D, it was Amber.

“Hello”, I said, scared of what I was going to hear.

“Miss Kerry, I hope you’re on your way to the boutique, your makeup artist and hairstylist are already there waiting for you. Please hurry, the dinner is at 6”.

“Okay, I’m on my way”, I said.

“Alright”, she said, and she hanged up.

I quickly took out my black jeans and paired it with a black t-shirt.

I rushed down the stairs and met my mum and sister at the hall watching TV.

“Mum, I’ll be back; I have to meet up with a friend”, I said, rushing out.

I took a cab and arrived at the boutique.

It was really big and nice. The clothes looked really expensive and the shoes and accessories, oh my, they were so gorgeous. I really felt odd being here because the ladies in here looked like they had millions on them and they all looked gorgeous and classy as they patrolled the boutique with the attendants.

One of the attendants approached me and smiled.

“Miss Kerry right?” she asked, smiling at me.

“Yes please”, I said, smiling.

“Okay, this way please”, she said directing me towards an inner room.

When I got there, the makeup artist and hair stylist were already set waiting for me.

The attendant took out a grey long dress, a pair of stilettos and silver accessories.

“Wow, they’re so lovely”, I said admiring them.

“Wait till you try them on”, the attendant said, smiling.

“Okay, where is the changing room?”

“This way, please”, she said directing me to the changing room.

I got to the changing room and after changing; I looked at myself in the mirror and appreciated myself more. I looked really lovely. I would have been so excited seeing myself in the mirror, but I couldn’t because I knew that tonight was going to be a bad night.

After some few minutes, I stepped out and walked back to the inner room.

“Wow, you look so lovely. I think the dress was made exactly for you”, the attendant said smiling.

“You look so pretty already, without the makeup”, the makeup artist said.

“Thanks”, I said blushing and I took my seat for the makeup artist and Hair stylist to take over.

When they were done, I was really late, so I didn’t have that much time to look at myself in the mirror, but with the way everyone was looking at me when I stepped out, I could tell that I was good to go.

I stepped out of the boutique and in front of me was a black Porsche.

The man inside rolled the windows down and assessed me for a while, then he stepped out and opened the door for me to get in.

I didn’t have the time to assess his face, but from the way he dressed, I could tell that he was my date. He didn’t look bad, I really wanted to look at his face, but I didn’t want to end up staring. So I just got in and sat down.

He got in and drove off.

“I’m Noah, by the way”, he said, smiling and taking a glance at me.

“I’m Katherine. Katherine Kerry”, I said, feeling nervous.

“First time?”

“Huh?”

“First time being an escort?”

I wanted to attack him and tell him that I wasn’t an escort, but then it hit me that what I was doing was the work of an escort.

“Yeah”, I said keeping a straight face.

“Mmm, okay, I hope you perform well on your first day”.

“Perform well?”

“Yeah, in front of my parents. I hope you read everything I sent”.

“Yeah”.

“Where did we meet?”

“At the auction dinner party organized by the Lieutenant governor”, I said boldly.

“What’s my full name?”

“Noah Chapmann”.

He kept on asking me questions till we arrived at the hotel.

It was really huge; I’ve never seen it before or seen anything like it.

We arrived at the driveway and we both stepped out. Someone got into the car as we stepped out and I was confused.

“That’s the car service”, he said, liberating me off my confusion.

“Oh okay”.

“And you look really beautiful, my parents will love you”, he said, as he walked me into the eatery.

“Thank you”, I said trying to prevent myself from blushing.

“And, I won’t sleep with you today. After the dinner, you can go home”.

I wanted to jump and thank him, but I had to act normal.

“Sure”, I said, like it meant nothing to me.

We finally got to a table and his parents were already seated. I felt really nervous.

The mother smiled at me and we took our seats.

“You’re late”, his dad said.

“I’m sorry about that”.

“What’s your name darling?” his mum asked.

“Katherine. Katherine Kerry”.

“Nice name “, she said.

“Where do you work?” her dad asked.

“Uhhh..uhhh”, I said stuttering, I didn’t know what to say.

“She works at Quora Ltd, she’s the assistant manager”, Noah said, saving me from disgracing myself.

“That’s great”, her dad said.

They kept on interrogating us and we just lied like it meant nothing. I was wondering when we were actually going to eat because his parents ordered for the food before we came.

Finally, the food arrived. I was actually really hungry and was hoping that I would like the food.

As mine was placed in front of me, I quickly took out the cutlery and munched on the food. When it comes to food, I really don’t give a damn about anything.

I was enjoying my food till I heard a statement that made me choke on my food.

“Are you sure you both are in a relationship, it really seems like you both just met”, his mother said.

Before I could think of what to do, Noah kissed me.

My Muse 40

*My Muse*♥️☺ *_Chapter 40_* *Natasha's POV* Today was supposed to be my happy day. But it turned out to be my worst nightmare. I was happy to be finally getting married to Oscar. As I walked down the aisle with my dad, tears of Joy were all over my cheeks. I couldn't believe it. Everyone stood up with a weird look on their face. What's going on? They were supposed to be smiling. My dad also noticed it. "Don't panic or mind the looks you're receiving", he said and I relaxed a bit. I looked at April, she's supposed to be cheering me up but she looked confused. As we got to the altar, I finally understood why they all had those looks on their faces. Oscar wasn't there. Where could he be? I said to myself panicking. "Where's Oscar?" June whispered in my ear. "I don't know"😰😰 I looked around and his family members were all there, but Oscar wasn't here!! I took my seat  and June starte

My Muse Sequel

*My Muse*♥️☺ *_Sequel_*💘💘 *Natasha’s POV* “Mom!!  Mom!!”  My little girl said, jumping on me. I was sitting on the chair so it was easy for her to jump. “April, you’re going to hurt our baby”, I said, widening my eyes. “I’m sorry mom”, she said, pouting her lips. “It’s okay baby. How was school?” I asked her. “It was great. I played with my friends. Miss Alison taught us new numbers. I can count one to twenty now”, she said, grinning. “Oh that’s great. Count for me”. She counted 1 to 10 and I was really happy for her.  April was just 4 and she was really smart. “That’s wonderful baby”, I said, clapping. “Where are your brothers?” I asked her. “They are outside with daddy.  They both got into a fight”, she said, frowning. Not again. Kendrick and Kendrack are always at each other’s throat and it really annoys me. They fight over little things like they’re girls. And yeah, they’re twins. They turned 7 this year. I waited patiently for them to come in.

My Muse 39

*My Muse*♥️☺ *_Chapter 39_* *Natasha's POV* "Uhmm. Will that be a good idea? Aren't other pastors available?" "Since he just got ordained we decided that he officates his first wedding now, and it happens to be yours". "Is he cool with it?" I asked. "Yeah, he was happy about it and said something about his prophecy coming true", he said and I remembered what he told me the day he broke things off with me. God is indeed great and true to his words. "Are you okay with it?" He asked me. "As long as June is fine, then it's not a big deal", I said and Oscar looked at me with questioning looks. "Okay, congratulations once again". "Thank you", I said and he hanged up. "What was that about?" Oscar asked me. "They've gotten a pastor to officiate our wedding". "And it's June?" He asked and I nodded hoping that he'll be cool with
